CX Season Just around the corner!

Just registered for Labor Day Cyclocross Championships. Pretty stoked to kick off with this race. This race I use to see where I am at and gauge for the October race season. Primarily a training race for me.

2011 Labor Day Cyclocross Championships

And SAMURAI NOODLE TEAM COMPETITION

Location:   “The Pit” at Lloyd Enterprises Retail Yard – Milton, WA

Date: Monday, September 5, Labor Day

Entry fee: Men $20, Women $20, all juniors $5,  no license required, must sign waiver.  A cyclocross racer can race multiple times for one entry fee. (Register for additional races on day of race, Kid’s race registers day of race only)

Registration: Race day registration opens at 8 a.m., on line registration at BikeReg.com (Mtn. bikes without forward pointing bar ends are permitted)

Prizes/Awards:  Medals – 3 deep & Prizes

Team Competition: A team dinner for ten at the Samurai Noodle University District store to the USA cycling registered club with the combined best five finishers in selected races.

Course Description:  A mixture of grass, gravel, and paved portions, off camber sections and short fast run ups.

Important Information:  Stay out of restricted areas.  Participants and spectators must stay within the allowed areas and away from our host’s equipment and inventory.  Restricted areas are away from the race area and will be marked. Violators will be asked to leave.
